Cervantes PS became an Independent Public School (IPS) at the beginning of 2012 as a member of the Turquoise Coastal Schools Alliance along with Jurien Bay DHS and Leeman PS. The School Board participates in a three year review cycle that analyses student achievement, the school strengths and opportunities along with parent feedback to provide a focus for the Business Plan. Our latest Business Plan was developed in 2018.
The Cervantes Primary School community is focused on improving student outcomes through the areas of: 1. Student learning and wellbeing 2. Teaching and Curriculum 3. Your current parent representatives on the school board are Jess Turbett, Jess Byrnes, Lara Woodford and Nikki Thompson, our community members are Peter Ivey, Susan Marsh, Opal Wilkins, and teacher representatives are Jess Ashby and Carly Radford.
