Cervantes PS became an Independent Public School (IPS) at the beginning of 2012 as a member of the Turquoise Coastal Schools Alliance along with Jurien Bay DHS and Leeman PS. The School Board participates in a three-year review cycle that analyses student achievement, the school strengths and opportunities along with parent feedback to provide a focus for the Business Plan. Our latest Business Plan was developed in 2021.
The Cervantes Primary School community is focused on improving student outcomes through the areas of: 1. Student success and wellbeing 2. Excellence in Teaching and Leadership 3. Relationships and Engagement Your current parent representatives on the school board are Nikki Thompson, Haley Newton, Tina Murray and Chris Stewart and our community members are Peter Ivey, Opal Wilkins, Barb Hayes, Jess Turbett and Rudy Rybarczyk and staff representatives are Carly Radford and Stella MacKay.
